Van rental into Local Authorities .................

We are a long established vehicle rental company looking to secure local authority business . Im looking for any hints / tips / advice / pointers etc when trying to obtain vehicle rental business from the various councils . Do they only rental via the tender process or do they rent ' off tender ' . Have their paymnent times improved - used to be 120 days ! ALL HELP AND FEEDBACK IN VERY MUCH APPRECIATED many thanks from Scotland .

Not sure if they go out to tender but they do probably have to come from an approved suppliers list.

If you look on your local council's website they should have a procurement section. Get in contact with them and ask them to register you for the list.
