Freight around UK and Europe

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a company who specialise in small shipments, between 5-20 kilos round the UK and especially Europe?

Tried parcel2go and a few others but at around £25 for an item costing the same, it rather kills any enquiries from the continent.

What Frequency of deliveries are you looking at?

On average we send out 8-10 parcels per week to the UK, so not huge amounts.

We get a few enquiries from Europe but not may orders, it costs £30+ to send a 20 kilo parcel abroad.

have you looked at www.interparcel.com ?
good price and service and if you go through Quidco you get a 5% rebate as well

Try Fastway. We use them for local (same county) same day deliveries @£2.95 per parcel. Think it's £5.50 for next day UK wide. They don't cover 100% of the UK but if it's out of the area I think the rate is £7.50.

You buy the consignment tickets in advance so always know what your carriage costs will be.

We've never had a problem with them but we don't use them all that regularly.
