now I can't get hold of them by any method & its been a month!

V good private client, regular work, pays on time recommends me to others, nice person, perfect customer in fact, well except for the bounced cheque, which is for a reasonable amount & no bloody contact for a month

They have done it before, reasons explaned, cash transfered in days no probs.

In this case despite the lack of contact I know they are not dead, abducted by aliens etc via others.

I do have a pair of the clients vehicles in store, so have some secuity, but not the V5 etc & the trouble is they are worth not a great deal, prob less than the owed amount.

I think it will eventually get sorted, this is unusal behaviour by this client, but if this drags on & I really can't get hold of them what are my options, try more contact obviously, then recorded letters etc then solicitors letter & if nothing send off to DVLA for V5s on cars (costs £25 each??) & sell them?

All advice welcomed.

Cheers

The registered keeper is not necessarily the registered owner, I highly doubt you'll be able to sell them legally just be being named on the V5.
