Football Season Tickets
Discussion
Bit left field this question! Our local footie club offer big discounts for buying next years season ticket now. My quesion is, if I buy now and the club goes into administration, do I loose my cash?
The saving is big enough to want to buy now rather than wait 'till the new season but what are the risks?

would it not be covered if you pay by credit card?
Some football clubs won't accept credit cards or will charge you a lot more for buying the season ticket with one. This is because the credit card companies don't release all the payment to the clubs in one go, rather they give them so much a month over the year. The credit card companies brought this in because of the number of clubs going bump & the card companies getting stung.

Took the advise and paid on the Credit Card. I should at least get some come back. If they actually go bust I would be miffed!!
Cheers all.
