I do not have much experience on dealing with a Chinese supplier. I think quality is the first issue. I know before export there are various quality inspection procedures to ensure that the quality is in compliance with the requirements from EU/Britain. But as far as I know many manufacturers here bribe the inspection people to get the approval for export. That does not mean that the quality is very bad, but also not as good as you/or EU standard require.
