Hey chaps/gurus

What software do marketing design companies use to design flyers/leaflets etc for their clients?

Or do you know of any software that is excellent and quick to use.

Thanks

Design companies use Quark Xpress, In Design, Illustrator, Fireworks, Photoshop and the odd other professional graphics package. It's not really about the software they use it's about their talent as designers and marketeers.

If you are not a designer I would suggest you try and find one, otherwise the literature you produce will not be as effective as it could be.
Thanks smile

Why exactly do you need to know what software is good to use? Are you thinking of trying to do it yourself? In my experience Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel are a good starting point but it really depends on what you are hoping to achieve..

In terms of time spent learning how to use Quark/Illustrator/Photoshop (CS2 or CS3) verses getting a graphic designer to carry out the work for you will quickly become clear, as will the difference in quality of results.

Coyft is right - but these won't be easy to pick up quickly (or cheaply).

Get in contact with your regular designer or give me a private message and I'll be able to help.
