When i resigned before it was pretty easy as they could not offer me the opportunities i needed to advance my career.. But the people were really good and understanding.. I now have the chances to better myself but the people are an absolute arse to deal with

After some careful thoughts i decided to get back onthe job market. Have been for one interview so far and secured the job. I have a offer via email which looks quite good. I am awaiting all of the paperwork through the post to confirm the smaller details.
I have 2 other interview in the next few weeks, so hopefully should have a couple of jobs decide from.
But just need to work my 3 months notice now!
How can i get myself off on gardening leave!
After some careful thoughts i decided to get back onthe job market. Have been for one interview so far and secured the job. I have a offer via email which looks quite good. I am awaiting all of the paperwork through the post to confirm the smaller details.
I have 2 other interview in the next few weeks, so hopefully should have a couple of jobs decide from.
But just need to work my 3 months notice now!

I listed the tasks I needed to do, and who I needed to involve or handover to in a Project Plan which showed a handover could be done in 3 weeks at the same time as Resigning and giving 5 weeks notice. My line manager refused, but HR overruled him as I was being very professional about it all. After some careful thoughts i decided to get back onthe job market. What you really want is a redundancy offer.
Once you've got the offer from the new place nailed down, references accepted, my personal view would be to sit and do the square root of fk all for your notice period to teach them to be less y about job negotiations next time.
Doesn't do you any harm, and might make life easier for the person that has to fill your job.

If you are borderline it can be worth salary sacrificing the difference to your pension - an IFA will be able to fill in the blanks
Am currently looking thorugh the pension thing.. But i have not got a clue how the pensions work etc.. Need to get advice ASAP. as the pension terms i am on at the moment are reasonable i put in 5% the company put in 10%. Still dont know how much money has been put in, or the projected fund. But now need to find out if i transfer my fund will i still be able to keep the company contributions if i leave?
