Business Plan Help

I hoping someone can help. I'm in the process of putting a business plan together. I have most of it written down (along with 4 year financial projections) but I am struggling with the format it should go in. There are so many differnt ways of laying it out. does anyone have a sample one they could send me (for example I feel like I am writing about things in the exec summary that should maybe go in the background or business description.)
any help would be much appreciated.

There is no single, one-size-fits-all answer to this - the format/layout will depend on the information the BP needs to contain for the audience its directed at.
On the Exec Summary/Background qeustion - they will overlap a bit, however, the Exec Summary should be capable of standing alone as a piece - it should describe very briefly the proposition, its aims and objectives, the problem its trying to solve, how its being solved, where the money will come from, etc, etc. The Background should describe how you arrived at this point.
However, not sure if its exactly what you're looking for, but if you send me a PM, I'll return a outline template I've used recently or contact some of the major banks, most of them have BP templates available (of varying quality IMHO)
