Does anyone else use the above? I use Xobni which as the feature, and thought that I would give it a shout.

I will create a PH Group on there for all those who are interested.

I have sort of created a PH Group on there too ...

The Outlook Toolbar from linkedin is excellent. Perfect for creating contacts from emails.

I joined a while back but only just updated my profile.

Still feeling my way round but struggling with contacts etc as a lot of my old collegues are not on it so cannot link them.

Will give it a while longer and see if anything picks up if not will just let it fall by the way.

I joined a few months ago so it's too early to tell if it's working for me. I imported my contacts and that helped me get a few links to people on there. I'll look out for the PH group

I've found more direct business on here, by helping out or quoting for work PH members need.

I use it alot. I think it's a fantastic tool - I have my own groups on there etc...that I utilize too so really see the benefits from it.

Highly recommend it!

I use it, but don't think I've had any business benefit from it, but still building my network!! I've started to join a few of the groups on there as well, which might help things. It's more to keep in contact with old colleagues. I think the xobni extension is great smile

Yep - I'm on it too.

Haven't had any benefit as yet, but I'm reasonably philosophical about the 'sitting around waiting for the phone to ring' method of securing work :-)

Been on there for many years. However, for it to be really useful people should only add contacts they really rate IMHO. That way when you are looking for a good contact - you know it really is one.
