IT - thinking of changing companies

I've posted a similar post in the Jobs forum, appologies for the near duplication.
I've been with my current company (large multinational outsourcer) for a long time (10 years) now & despite having lots of different roles & some exciting times, it's all become a bit hum-drum of late. I'm currently a solution architect in Defense. However, I'm in a bit of a daze as to where I want to go next. Job satisfaction & me gaining new skills is most important thing.
I've dipped my toe in the market a few times via jobserve etc & in most cases, I've been less than impressed with the agent's I've spoken to. The question is, other than on here, how do I get in contact with you guys? I can certainly see an expanding, challanging role with a growing business would be more rewarding.
Also, anyone got any CV writing tips/templates? I suspect I could do with mine re-vamping.
