As someone who fondly remembers the first PistonFest up at the Shakespeare County Raceway, I'm certainly up for a revival. It was just like Le Mans, with but without Le Mans wink

I thoroughly enjoyed the last event.

Like many, it was the 'maintenance tent' that really made it for me. To this day my wife knows nothing.

This year, it would be great if the prostitutes could be divided between different themed tents. You could have a futuristic 'pleasure droid' tent with synth music piped through, dry ice, lasers etc. and a mediaeval marquee with comely wenches that one takes roughly from behind whilst quaffing a horn of mead etc.

Strange question alert .... would it be OK to bring a dog? Was planning on a bit of a camping trip for me, Mrs-C, the dog (JerryC) and the XJS that week and would be good to end up at PistonFest ...
I don't think it will be an issue but I'll check and make sure it's mentioned in any further updates.
Dogs allowed would make it much easier for us too.

Don't Worry Ali, you can stand up in the pre-erected tents we use, although they are not of Yurt proportions, so the double bed will have to stay at home.

Definately be doing that tonight.

Better dust off the tent.

Think the elise will have to stay at home as the tent and cold box will not fit

I have one of those pop-up tents and it folds up to a big round disk 1 & 1/2 meters across, it will not fit in the Elise.

Anyway I took the BMW to the last one 7 years ago. Probably one of the few people with the same car.

Shame there's no racing to watch though, that made the snetterton events, or atleast made up for the incessant wind!
