RE: PistonFest returns
Discussion
Can I make a band suggestion: http://www.rpjband.co.uk/
Ok his dads a bigger name. But he's a British GT racer and they don't play his dads stuff. They have been really good a couple of times I've been to events they were at. No idea on cost though.

Thanks for all the great feedback. To register your interest, please make sure you send an email to info@1st-tickets.co.uk with PistonFest as the subject line, this will ensure you are contacted when things become more concrete
Definately be doing that tonight.Better dust off the tent.
Think the elise will have to stay at home as the tent and cold box will not fit

How can you not fit 1 tent and enough for a weekend's camping for 1 in an Elise?! We took 2 tents and enough ste for 2 to Le Mans a few years back no trouble. And big Mexican hats.
It depends how much you want to rough it. Yes its doable as you have just proved but how comfortable were you overall? Cooking, shelter, food, beer, comfort? Im not into scoring points how little I can survive on for a weekend. If I was I would say you could have just taken a bivi bag and a sleeping bag to put in it, why take tents? Because we could fit them in? Surely if you take it to the extreme then any car is slumming it. Take a Winnebago. Or even do what we did at the last Pistonfest and hire a set of local cottages (which proved a great move given the weather at Snett).
Just making the point that an Elise/Exige takes a good amount of camping ste if packed efficiently and you get to enjoy the spirit of the event in a sports car. I would take the practical car if it was a festival or a non-car based event.
