Actually Nigel - considering your colour in jumpers - I'd guess you were the one on the right hehe

Back to tents, should I take this one

or should I take this one?

The first one is older but bigger, the second one is newer but smaller and importantly takes far less time to pitch leaving much more time to spend drinking and more time helping people with huge tents, or watching people struggle with huge tents as I continue drinking drink

I would definitely take the first one!

Either that or pitch the second one somewhere you are absolutely sure is not even close to the route anyone else will have to take to their tent from the beer tent or the loos. Knee-high tents are all well and good in "the wild" but tend to get tripped over by inebriated revellers at festivals, race meets etc..

You might need two...if the weather is crap like last year.Or you could pitch one up the other side of the field then if you can find one you can sleep in the other

our smaller tent keeps good company:

thats been a great tent, got it after Harewood's practice day as the Royal Normandy...

didnt stand up to well to the force 6 blowing down the valley. so got a stonger tent.
