Was good fun indeed, weather put a bit of a dampener on it, though, and my mates dad was rushed into hospital so we had to leave early, and missed the best night frown

Oi! I'm a Southerner, and I'll challenge you to find anywhere on this thread or in person where I complained about the bracing spring mist we had at Pistonfest!

did anyone see the op's profile?

he puts v power into a 1.1

"Bought for £1,750 in January 2007 at 52,000 miles. Sold for £2,200.
Great little car! Lots of fun round the twistys!

Have put an Exhaust and induction kit in to it so at least it doesn't sound like its powered by a door mouse....well...you have to work with what you've got don't you. I will have my V8 one day.

And it's £30 for a full tank of V-Power!!!!!!"

i would rather have a blank profile than admitting to putting v power in a 1.1

Id rather read posts by the OP in that case. He was a decent enough chap, he was just young, he got a hard time at the event so sniping at him from behind your no detail profile is pretty pathetic.

It would be a waste of money. But other than that, nothing at all.

exactly. each to they're own. but it gives me the impression of the kind of person thinks the car will get 5 more bhp or something. i cant say anything though, cos apparently i am 'hiding'

That's some lovely prejudice you have there.

I'm sure the OP doesn't care what you put in your car. Maybe time to follow his lead*?

Of course you are, just don't expect everyone to agree with you.

Especially when you resurrect a thread after a month to make a snide comment.

Well, it makes a lot of difference to the MPG on my 8 year old 1.4 car, when I'm on long journeys - don't bother with local trips, but +90 miles, I use it biggrin
