I've used Lucrin cases for a few years for various phones and my Kindle. High quality, but for a macbook they are quite expensive.

Thanks anyway

You need the ostrich leather version for £474.24!

Must admit, I would never have bought that from them. The phone cases are really really good though.

Anybody else had this problem?

Using Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 14.4.0 on a 1yr old 1TB Imac.

When I copy text and go to paste it, it pastes the previous bit of text I copied, not the new bit I now want to copy. I have to manually type the new bit of copy into where I want it.

This doesn't always happen, but when it does it's v annoying as it usually pops up (in true Mac style) when I'm under the cosh.

I don't have a macbook case but I have a mediadevil phone case/wallet which is very good. They have MBP cases here: click.

I've got a bit of an issue with the App store

It suggests I have an update

when I open the App Store it just sits there looking like its trying to update but doing nothing

I've Googled it and there seems to be a few issues with it but mostly from the end of last year. I've tried all the suggestions including running the updates from Terminal but again nothing happens.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I can try next?

FWIW this is the version of OSX i'm using and its a Mid 2010 Macbook Pro

Have you tried logging out of your iTunes account and back in again?

I now can't get on AMOC.org website, having happily browsed it just a few days ago.

I get the following message"Hello! The Aston Martin Owners Club site is temporarily unavailable while we perform some essential maintenance work. We'll be back soon!"

I have tried clearing caches, cookies, history.

I have logged out, turned off.

I have rebooted the router.

Stumped.

Also, I have noticed that when I turn off and restart the computer, now I don't need a password (even if I have logged off first). What's going on?

The AMOC site is down - so it's not you.

Have you been into your security settings?

On the security settings, the "Disable automatic login" box was unchecked for some reason (?!) - lots of double negatives to work out in that statement. I did have a repair done on it so maybe they enabled it. I presume this will now work.

Very odd on AMOC. Down the whole weekend for me at home. Worked in fine in the office (with posts on the forum at times when it was down for me). Now down at home again.

AMOC.org is offline for “some essential maintenance work” – but if you append ‘/forum’ to the url, it loads no problem.
Seems they’ve an issue with their home page.
