Installing Adobe CC on my iMac, already have it on my Retina Macbook Pro and its' working fine.

Here is the problem the installation initialises and then guest the installation bar which after getting to 1% this appears.

I've restarted so many times and can't work out what the issue is.

Anyone using the iOS 11 beta?

I know it’s a beta but it seems more unstable than previous betas. My iPad keeps shuttting down randomly.

What’s the Error Summary file show?
Have you looked on Adobe’s site for FAQ/Support?
Do you have any network blockers active, like Hands Off or Little Snitch?

I have an old MacBook Pro that was never used and is like new.

I just fired it up and it works perfectly - but the web browser seems to be so old that many sites do not display correctly. I try to update the browsers / install chrome but apparently the OS is too old. How do I update the OS?

It's an intel Core 2 Duo model; pics attached. I don't have it on me right now but can say later; what OS is installed. To be sure what era; pic attached.

I can't believe that this laptop is basically obsolete due to OS not being able to be updated. That seems bizarre.

That looks to be between 6 and 10 years old. Correct? You'll need to check if it will run Snow Leopard and then buy the discs from Apple. Then you'll have the app store and you can perform all further os updates via the internet.

I think that's the way forward but someone more knowledgeable than me will no doubt be along in a mo...

Yes about that vintage!

How much can snow leopard be bought for? If I can't install snow leopard, then do I own a pretty paper weight?

I can't believe I need a new OS just to be able to use a web browser and other bits and bats.

Think I'll ebay it and get a hundred quid if I'm lucky frown

It's as cheap as chips. Check the Apple store online in your location. Last time I bought it I think it was £30 in the UK.

Ok thanks; perhaps it's worth it then! I'll see if the spec will allow snow leaopard!

The spec is:

Intel Core 2 Duo
2.4GHz
Memory: 2GB
OSX: 10.5.8

I've found conflicting reports as to whether I can install snow leopard!

Thank you; it appears I could even install Lion! But I've just ordered snow leopard for £19.99 from Apple.

Should I have ordered Lion; as officially, it would have worked... but I'm guessing snow leopard may give the old buzzard an easier time?

Thoughts?

Edit to add; ignore this post as I now see that I can't install Lion without Snow Leopard anyway.

Not sure how old it is but I'm running Sierra on my 2010 MBP with Intel Core Duo. Although I have installed 8gb and SSD.

2011 MBP and 2014 27” iMac.....

Seemed to download OK, so it’s the installation, and the iMac certainly has plenty of space, the MBP about 20Gb.....
