where do you see that?
In diagnostics, under detailed battery info it's the last item.

And to get there, type ##634# on your phone's dial pad.

Correct. So, what does the number mean? Is 834 good, bad or indifferent?

Are you checking 'Current (Discharging)' or 'AverageCurrent' (both the same I think)? If so, mine is idling around 150 mA....

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm asking.

Within Detailed Battery Info the following are available
  • Temp
  • Voltage
  • State of Charge
  • Avg Current
  • Flags
  • Standby Current
  • Max Load Current
  • State of Health
It's the last on the list that I don't understnad. What is the number shown being measured against? My number for State of Health is 857.
857 of what?

Ah, you're right I didn't understand. I've had a quick Google and there isn't much info, but mine is 862 and other owners are around the same. No ideas what it means though confused

I was talking to a Microsoft guy at the Insight trade show yesterday in London about remote management of the Wndiws phones, some of it confused me and I'm not sure he knew the answers to a few of my questions, so has anyone managed the Lumias on a company domain?

I am having an issue on the 800 and bluetooth
I have a jabra clip on sunvisor type handsfree and it pairs up fine
Outgoing calls work fine
Incoming calls it wont auto answer the call and put it through the hands free.
I have to pick up the phone and press the bluetooth tile?
any tips apart from RTFM?

My old HTC Touch would answer after 3 rings on incoming calls and work fine

yours confused?

Hmm is there some sort of code-protection on your phone?

Isn't there a auto-answer setting in the "ergonomy" section? Not sure if that's what you're after though.

Think mine needs an update asap then. Just ran the diagnostics on mine, with absolutly nothing running it's idling at 300mA
Power down the phone and restart it. May well have a dodgy app hogging the power
Tried that, restarted everything including wifi off just sat idling on 3G at 300mA

Edit: Left it sat on the desk for a minuite with the diagnostic screen open nothing else and it was actually idling between 70-80mA

Well the missus has just got one for her upgrade so it will be intredasting to see how she copes after the iPhone. She is on Orange and it is quite suprising they haven't rolled out the 12070 update yet.

Hi all,

Just upgraded to a Lumia 800, lovely little phone, been very impressed with the OS too, very smooth!

Im having trouble with the market place though, I have a Windows live account. I can download free apps but when I try to pay for one it says I need a Zune account wich isn't available in my area (UK) and wont let me add a credit card. I do have 'Windows phone 7 connector' as I'm on Mac, the market place still says unavailable in my area when adding a credit card.

Just wondering how folks on here are getting on?
Many thanks

James.

Just clicked the button to order Mrs Pints a Lumia 710.
She's having a mild panic that she's moving to a touchscreen. hehe

Mrs J was similar - apparently you can't beat real buttons etc etc

That was before.

Now she's all "Phones used to have buttons? Really? Never!"

Well apparently i will be getting the better version of the Lumia within a week.

N9 yay me. Have to confess not overly impressed with the windows interface. I have windows 8 installed on my laptop now and its ok but nothing to write home about.
