So is it best to preorder for store pickup, or delivery?
Thats what I'm wondering. Already have the launch day booked off work for something else so might just go to the store and get one.

EDIT: Oh and also White or Black...

not going to be popular here.. but why ?

you blatantly do not need such a high resolution to browse the web, which after all is what 95% of ipads end up doing.
New spanky processor.. for what ? browsing facebook and twitter ? well thats worth it then..

If they opened the bloody thing up properly it could be really good - imagine taking pics with a DSLR, transferring to ipad, processing in photoshop and then uploading to the web.

Something that simple is a real pain in the arse because they insist on locking the damm things down.. why ?

This guy saying "oooh it all looks gorgeous" is starting to get on my nerves.. its obviously the only thing that matters...

Not really and their stock price reflects this.

499-899 dollars for the ipad so its a question how much it will be when it hits our shores.

Yeah but the current size is fine

Those are the same pricing points as the iPad 2 was in the USA so UK prices shouldn't change.

Makes a refurbished iPad 2 look attractive, price wise then - assuming they drop in line with expectations. scratchchin

The iPad 1 was £280 refurb when the 2 came out.

That would be a good price to buy the Ipad2 at.

Well after watching all the live updates I'm not yet seeing anything that bothers me enough to sell the iPad 2 in a hurry.

Better screen - never thought the current screen needed to be any better and my eyes are probably too rubbish to see it.
Better processor - apparently this will make playing high end games better, I got so frustrated trying to play GTA and other games using the on screen buttons that I gave up. I stopped using keys to drive a car back in the ZX Spectrum days!
Camera - never taken a photo on it yet.
4G - only just got 3g in my town and even then it's poor.
Better battery - I always run out of steam before it does but this is always a welcome addition.

Might give it 6 months and trade mine in if the prices are right just so that I keep on top of it all and don't have such a big jump to make when the next one arrives.

yikes

That is cheap. I was hoping to get about £250 for my 64GB WiFi but looks like it will be a fair bit less.
