I don't think it's even been released to operators yet. It's coming though, HTC confirmed it's on it's way.

Hopefully O2 won't be dicks about it.

Got a One X this morning so plugged it in to charge while out at work.

12 hours later the same red LED is on as when I first plugged it in. Take it that this should have turned green by now? Anyone else had this?

Thoughts appreciated.

it does take quite a long time to charge, especially from empty, but 12 hours seems a bit excessive! are you charging from mains?

got a problem with mine now, can't answer calls from the normal screen, the menu seems to have moved to the right hand side for no reason

Resetting phone has no effect, any ideas?

I keep on getting calender notifications which I can only assume are coming through from Facebook. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It'll come up telling me its someone's birthday the day before and the day of the event everytime I unlock the phone. Its bloody annoying.
Thanks guys

Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync > Facebook and then untick Calendar.

This will stop any future syncing between Facebook calendar and your phone although I'm not sure if it will remove existing stuff.

If it doesn't go to the Calendar app, press the menu button, then Delete and tick each thing you want to delete and get rid of them, shouldn't take too long.

When you say resetting do you mean a full hard reset or just turning the phone off and on? If a hard reset doesn't fix it I would say it's a back to the shop job.

I notice a few on this thread have the One-S. Rather than starting a new thread. How are you getting on with it? The X seems too much for my use aswell as being enormous. While the V seems too basic, so I am swinging towards an S.

The reviews, TechRadar ect all seem to like it apart from the inability to increase storage, and the hard wired battery.

I just wondered what the PH consencus was.

My mum and brother's girlfriend have One Ses and are very pleased with them.

Good phones, but once you've seen the X's screen next to the S (or any other phone tbh) I think you'd find it hard to not take the X.

There really isn't that much difference in size.

I had the S, briefly.

To me, it felt smaller, better quality and better looking. It's also reportedly the fastest phone at the moment; faster than the X. I can't comment on the screen, as I didn't use it for long enough, but the X would be hard to match, let alone beat.

Only because it was the wrong colour - the grey one doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the black one. Vodafone replaced it for an X for free.

So... further to my One X refusing to acknowledge my hotmail accounts exist for much of the time, it has now decided to eat one of them - it no longer shows up in the list of available accounts, so I can't select it, edit it, delete it... but it is still there somewhere as it won't allow me to add it as a new account.

gmail seems to work fine... rolleyes

Any ideas?

Proud new owner of a One X. Was delivered yesterday. Impressed. It's my third HTC, and they get better each time. Desire, Desire S, and now the One X.
There was a software update right away, and I've pretty much got it set up how I want. Been playing on it for hours. Barry does not seem to be an issue. Did a direct comparison between this and my Desire S, playing YouTube videos, and the Desire S battery drained much quicker.
The only gripe I have, is not with the phone, but the cable. It's much shorter than the one that came with the Desire S.
I've messed my contacts up too. I had 200 odd, and after transfering then onto this phone, I have 700 odd. It's not synching with anything, and I can't figure it out.
