Re. the micoSIM, there is one in the box when you open the phone. I think you go online or call up and they switch the SIMs over instantly. Depends if you've bought on contract or not. Good point.

Anyone spotted a decent business contract for a One X? TMobile seem to do the phone for £200 on a £15/month contract, 500 mins and 250 texts, which suits me fine for work purposes except the fair usage internet limit is only 500MB; 2 years ago I picked up a HTC Desire on £10/month with them with a 3GB limit!

The Microsim I've received from Vodafone says 'non-Apple' on the packaging. That would lean towards suggesting HTC have followed the Nokia standard....or would it be that Vodafone have different settings for non-Apple devices?

Does anyone know if you can create folders to manage / organise apps? There seems to be one pre-configured called favourites that you can modify, wondering if you can add others?

with older versions of android you just do a long press where you want the folder, a menu will pop up that lets you select a widget, app or "add folder"..

You just drag an app on top of another on the screen and it automatically creates a folder, quite neat actually.

I picked one up on Friday to replace my Nexus One, really impressed so far, the screen is really clear and it is really easy to use - I'm even getting used to Sense. The photos are great and the ability to grab a snapshot whilst recording video works very well. The only thing I have come across so far is that flash doesn't seem to be working - it is loaded but on a few websites it has said the plugin is not installed where I would have expected a flash animation, any ideas?

OK, just managed to answer my own question - Flash works on the standard browser but isn't supported with the Chrome Beta app which I have been using.

Just had a look at the X in the shop. It's comically big as is a lot of the new smart phones. Might work with a suit but either it or your gonads are gonna take some damage if you stuff it in your jeans pocket.

Mine arrived yesterday; 1. It does use an Apple Microsim. 2. It is a big phone, about the limit I would say. 3. No Beats headphones, boo! (Was going to sell them anyway! ) 4. Setup was ok, the accounts area was a little confusing as if you have multiple accounts you have to go to the bottom of the list to access add another acount, but this is off the screen. 5. The screen is awesome, I have an AMOLED Desire and generally find the screen too bright, this is perfect for me. 6. Miss the big phone button bar (Uses a tweaked ICS menu bar) 7. The buttons are the other way around to the Desire, most will like this, but I'm a lefty and it's a little disconcerting. 8. Don't like the position of the charge socket, it gets in the way if you're trying to use the phone while it's on charge. 9. Everything is super slick, no issues so far, although miss the menu button. 10. The back button on the left is taking some getting used to. Will post more when I've had more of a play with it and will try and post some pics.

Received mine this morning. 9 & 10 I agree it's something we'll have to get used to, Though I don't see the point of the recent apps button on the right, would much rather have a menu button! I did get Beats earphones though!

I only tried them out quickly but they seem very good. I'll post a picture later just to rub it in!
