LordFlathead said: So it is possible for a new desgined 8mp camera to be better than a last generation 12mp camera? Treat a camera's megapixels like the cubic capacity of an engine. At a certain point, the number becomes less relevant than other factors. Similarly, 720 HD video can actually look better than 1080.

I picked white, but now wish I'd opted for the blue. The pictures at mobile-review.com make it look less blue than other pictures I've seen.

Visual element of its form is a non-issue, as long as it feels on in the hand (iphone 4 feels like a glass block/nasty)

Waiting on T Mobile for this one. My contract is overdue and was about to pull the plug on a One X but I might just see what this is like battery wise.

Well, I upgraded from an Xperia X10 to a blue SGS3 today. Ummed and ahh'd between this, the HOX and the Xperia S ( which I couldn't get direct from Vodafone. First person my PA spoke to today at Vodafone said it would be with me at the end if the month. Then this afternoon I got a text from VF to say it was being delivered tomorrow! We shall wait and see.

He said it feels like a glass block, which isn't "quite the opposite", I've never seen a glass block in a christmas cracker. That said, I have to agree with him, despite it being small, it doesn't feel small. It feels heavy/square, which is imho "wrong" for a phone.

I've never seen anything bigger than a nail clipper in a cracker so slightly confused by the whole comparison!
The whole "plastic feels cheap" thing is a nonsense. Does it feel comfy is the question. Iphone feels expensive, so does caviare.....wouldnt walk round with it pressed to my ear.

im said: I don't think Samsung are releasing till the end of the month Fubes. Well, that what I thought, and placed my order for the end of the month. I started to question my own sanity about this received text, so.... I've just this second got off the phone to VF and they have checked and confirmed my phone IS in the warehouse and set to be picked today, although he did disappoint me by saying I might not get it until tomorrow.

So I've been thinking of going with an S3 when I can get my hands on a sim free one. I thought I read somewhere that it comes with either 16, 32 or 64 GB of storage. I would like to have 32GB available to me, maybe more, but 32 is fine for now...so is there any reason you wouldn't just get the 16GB and use a micro SD card for the additional storage? Apart from speed (which I am not sure matters where music is concerned) it would seem to be a better idea to go for the smallest and therefore cheapest phone?
