I didn't even realise there was a big fuss about them! But I can say I was playing with one last week and must admit it's the first time I've been tempted away from an iPhone, putting the two side by side the iPhone 4s does actually look quite dated. Being a non techie geek type the first thing that impressed me was the water wave effect across the screen when you touch it, but then I'm easily pleased

^ Vodafone have UK Exclusive on the 32Gb for a month. I don't think Samsung have announced when the 64Gb one will be available.
Seen a rumour that there may not be many blue ones available at launch, the story goes that they had colour match problems with the backs and binned 600,000 of them, they have apparently sorted it and production is running again but worldwide availability is affected.
Dunno how true it is, we'll find out next week I guess! 600k isn't much when you consider the alleged 9 million preorders.

I've ordered a blue one, just checked with three and it has been delayed until friday 1st June but apart from that didn"t state any problems with my order being for a blue one. Not sure if this is a common delay or a delay just for Three customers.

As a heads up, Westfield (Shepherds Bush) has the S3 on show (like an apple store) in the middle so you can go have a play. Samsung have built a temporary unit in the middle - looks pretty good and gathering quite a crowd (again, much like an Apple store).

Seesm the shortage of blue phones will mostly be in Asia, no mention of problems the UK.

You can add a micro SD card to it I think People seem to fall in two camps - I will never fill 16gb. I put songs I want on the phone and have cloud services for everything else. Others will fill a 64GB because they seem to want 10 zillion music albums with them at all times!

Just clarified the situation with three, there will not be enough of the blue phones for me to have one on the 30th, but they will be getting a second delivery which means I will receive it on the 1st June.
This makes some sense as they have stopped taking preorders for the blue model as out of stock, but I'm surprised that they're getting a second shipment so soon after the initial one. Can't help shake the feeling I may be waiting a while. For what its worth I ordered mine on the 17th may.
Has anyone else checked if they are going to have a delay?

I got a call today, from there, just to confirm that I wanted the blue. Means that I also won't get mine until Friday. I would look too much like a t  t with a white phone.

I've just called Samsung in Stratford and they have sold out of blue, but have some white left for pre-order. Seems that there are some pop-up shops being created as well - http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/samsung-mobile...It says they will be showcasing the S3, I wonder if they will be selling them too?

I got my pre-order in pretty early so was hoping to be reasonably certain of getting mine on the 30th. Just got this email from VF: Vodafone said: An update on your Samsung GALAXY SIII order - blah blah... shipping delays ...blah... dissapointing ...blah... aim to deliver within 2-4 weeks ...blah... don't worry... Feel like cancelling the pre-order now and just getting it when all the crap has died down. Especially as they already started charging me the new contract rate before I even had the phone.

I've just dropped into carphone WH this morning and they took a pre-order for a blue one to be delivered tomorrow...who know's if they will actually honour that or not!

My iPhone started crapping up today, claiming it couldn't access the internet due to a carrier network problem. Just spoke to O2 on the phone, apparently it's to do with my upgrade and my contract change over. The lady at the end of the phone checked the system and my lovely new Galaxy S3 has already been dispatched and will be with me tomorrow between 11am and 1pm
