Yes, I totally jumped into this without thinking about it... The majority of reports i've read have actually been positive for Sky, they certainly can't be any worse than BE at the moment!

The routing issue is back again. I may as well change the DNS IP addresses and see what gives!

Plumbed in the google dns addresses and working a treat, surprising as i was led to believe its a core network issue.
Whilst in the router's config settings i noticed a page for Dynamic DNS. Is that something worth looking in to?

Just befor eI left BE, I had a problem where I was unable to download Apple updates. Repointing DNS solved it...

Latest post from BE, made at 3:20pm today.
"Hello everyone, As many of you know, some customers are still unable to access certain websites. This has been caused by a problem at one of the third party peering platforms we use to route traffic across the internet. Although our partner is working to fix the problem, to enable customers to reach these websites we are putting in place a temporary solution which we hope will fix most, if not all of the problems. We’re sorry for the time it has taken us to get on top of these problems, and for the lack of communication since they began. We really hope to have service back to normal shortly."
