Anything new imminent? Was about to purchase an iMac, should I wait?

Well, iOS6, but that's unlikely to be it. The store closes from time to time for no apparent reason.

The WWDC starts today, Apple usually announce some new toys, the current rumours are: IOS 6, iPhone 5, Mountain Lion, MacBook Pro updates.

Potentially there will be new iMacs, definitely a good idea to wait. Definitely no iPhone 5 though.

WWDC in a couple of hours.

The D stands for developer, so I don't think we'll see iPhone 5, but iOS6 is likely.

Mac lineup is anything goes though. I'm interested as I want to use my student discount on a mac this year, preferably a macbook air, but if the pro's are modified enough I might get one of them instead.

IOS 6 is definite... there are multiple links on Twitter showing a huge IOS6 banner.

Well, you can never be certain. But given Apple's previous record and the fact an iPhone 5 would comfortably over-shadow everything else there, they'd be stupid to do it. Give it a month or so.

I'd put money on it.

Well, and the fact it seriously out-features any laptop out there of a similar size.

Seriously - I went shopping for laptops with a mate and apart from a couple of the Ultrabooks, PC notebooks are butt ugly.

$4k is the rumour. Possibly with usual ste exchange rate.

Sounds perfect for me otherwise though.

ETA: $2200 That's ok, I can do that for the basic model.

I imagine they will shift quite a few thunderbolt adapters...
