How bizarre!
I just received an email, supposedly from Twitter, alerting me of a new follower.
It claims Rob Austin, the BTCC driver is now following me.
When I look at Twitter (on my phone) it doesn't show him - I can't check the web at the moment as Twitter is blocked here.
Looking at the email address of the sender, it doesn't look like a valid Twitter one, but I can't be certain with the phone.
Has anyone heard of anything similar?
I can't think how, if this is a scam, how it would work - unless they hope I am going to put my Twitter login details into a scam page or something.
I have no idea why Rob Austin would follow me, whilst I am a big fan of BTCC, I don't think I have ever tweeted anything pertaining to this!

I think he is adding all the followers of people he follows...I too got added by him (I follow Plato, amongst others), so the chance is you follow the same person as him and there you have it.

Spot on mate. I forgot I tweeted Jason Plato earlier this week. Rob has now shown up on my list of followers... Hope he likes crap jokes and IT stuff, LOL.
