Ok, so an educated guess at best it is smile.

I really don't see the need for updating, the N7 is a superb piece of kit and is ahead of the competition in many aspects.
Though, on the other hand, if it wants to stay ahead, updating is necessary.
If it is launched with a Full HD res like the speculation suggest, it would be an amazing display. The N7 display already puts the iPad Mini display to shame, but that would just add insult to injury. Especially as apple is probably preparing a Mini 2 with possible (hopefully) higher res display (again, educated guess).
Totally agree awesome kit the only thing I would like to improve is the camera and to able to write to usb sdcard. Nexus wins hands down v imini as I don't need to link to apple account. I have a i touch which is called devil reincarnated but I think is good value for money as only 8Gb version. I would only go apple if is good value for money compared to competition.

I have connected 1Tb to the N7 as with most external all come with their own power supply. Not really tempted to hack the n7 the only one I have done so far is the kindle 3g to get rid of those horrible screen savers!

That may be due to the minimal power delivered through the N7 usb at a guess!

Boot loop??

Has anyone had this problem? I hadn't used it for a couple of days so the battery was dead, I plugged it in (provided charger) and came back to it an hour or so later. When I came back to it, it was booting up with the colourful X on the screen, it doesn't appear to want to get any further than that now.

I've only had it two weeks, I haven't rooted it. I have read a couple of things online saying that it needs to be sent back, is that true?
Sound like you need to hard reboot

Anybody else found the battery life getting significantly worse on their nexus 7? Mine used to be pretty good, now it's terrible. Would a reset help? If so how do I preform one and does it wipe all data/settings?
Do you have the wifi on when on standby mode! that sucks the battery juice if not needed put it on plane mode! I would be interested what the app you downloaded turns up!

I'm tempted to get a N7 cradle for a proper longer cable and for the cradle but my N7 is always in a leather case which will be a pain to take out all the time for the cradle.

My original cable broke with in the 1st week don't know what cable I am using most of the time it recharges fine while I www searching etc then sometimes it just refuses to recharge and even consumes battery while plugged in! Just one of those wierd tech things.

Has any one bought a cradle?

Hi,

Only place I've seen the FonePad advertised with a price is Expansys. I'd also like to know where you can purchase one of these as at under £200 it's an absolute bargain and PC Pro magazine recently reviewed it and it's currently top of the catagory A list!

Cheers, Dennis!
