I've had the update, but have decided not to install it --as discussed on the 'lollipop' thread.
Will stay with Kitkat.
Sensible. Lollipop doesn't improve the experience. Will stay with Kitkat.
May be a coincidence, but my 2012 N7 has now occasionally decided to start switching itself off. Only been happening since 5.0 appeared.

Thanks, I'll try it - I did the cache clearing thing to no avail.
Yup, same as me. That made no difference at all.....except that it turns out that the Virginmedia TV Anywhere App isn't compatible with Lollipop !

Yes, I've had stability issues with Lollipop on my 2012 N7, usually it's Chrome freezing up. I haven't let it near my 2013 N7 or my Moto G 2nd Gen - they've both still happily running KitKat. I binned mine before lollipop appeared so can't comment on much else.
I had the 4.4 to 5.0 update on Day 1 and it killed my N7 2012 (made it slow and unresponsive).
I then did a factory reset to 5.0 (data wipe) and it was no better.
I then got the 5.0 to 5.0.2 update and it made it marginally better, but still dreadfully slow.
I then did a factory reset to 5.0.2 (data wipe) on Saturday and its 90% better as a "fresh install" as opposed to the upgrade. The device still constantly disconnects from my Wireless network at home when streaming audio / Youtube.
I would stay with 4.4.4 if I had the option, since I can honestly say that there is not a single feature of 5.x that wasn't available (that I have found a use for). I have spent the past 2 months in Android hell. My next phone will be a Windows phone, since my Nexus 5 update has introduced nowt new either, other than constant Wireless disconnects.

I did this today and it is amazing. What a difference the fresh install has made. My 7 has been in a draw since the 5.0 update in November, as it was essentially unusable. I was ready to spend £200 on the Nokia N1, and now I don't have to Anyone who is having issues with Lollipop on the 2012 7 should do a factory reset IMO.
Attempted to roll back to Kitkat but couldn't get my PC to connect to the 7 in fastboot mode.
Chrome does get a bit confused from time to time, but I use apps on it mostly.
