Even that page is broken now!I'd already cancelled my O2 contract before this network problem, again. Had a good run of trouble free comms with them for a coupla years, but this is getting ste now. So got a few more weeks before phone cuts off.
Who have the best network coverage and reliability these days? It it T-Mobile since they merged with Orange?

I get the same as your mate for £26 a month on O2...
Two phones on O2 here, both working fine.
£26 a month for an iPhone 5? Is that a business rate, as in plus VAT?Two phones on O2 here, both working fine.

If not I shall try and bargain O2 down a bit before I move, but I'll move anyway so I can get a signal at home.
We've just had an update from O2
Approximately 10% of our customers have experienced intermittent service when making calls or using data since lunchtime today.
Some customers will already have had their service restored and we will have a full fix this afternoon. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused those customers.”

My wife just emailed me to tell me not to text her, as she won't get it.
She's in Central London.
I'm with t-mobile / Orange and never had any problems like this but it seems it's happened a few times with O2 - she just renewed and got an iPhone 5 last week although I think they mis-sold it, telling her she'd have 4G.
According to the Sunday Times O2's 4G network won't work with iPhones.
A case for returning the phone I think.

[quote]Investigations continue, with work completed to bring a level of stability and mitigate against knock-on impacts.
The issue isn’t affecting everyone or everything, so as things stand right now we wouldn’t expect a slew of new reports.
SIMs with data sessions in progress were unaffected, though as devices tear down or lose sessions they could have been subsequently impacted.
This remains a ‘priority zero’ and will be handled until fixed, regardless of time of day or day of week.

I was pondering changing to T-Mobile at upgrade time, but couldn't be doing with the hassle, so stuck with O2 and got a Galaxy SIII on Monday. Wish I'd changed my mind now. The big July problem didn't affect me, but a minor local one did a few days later. It's been down for me since about 3.30pm.
