Wouldn't you have to tell it to send to the phone number, rather than the email address? For example, when i put in my brothers name, I get the phone number, and the email address to choose from.

I normally send messages by going to the message app and then clicking on the plus symbol to ad a contact from my address book. Its not giving me the choice of their phone number or email address when I do it this way. It simply picks there email address everytime.

I have all the info in contacts, so email, mobile, and home phone are in there. Put in the name, and I choose which it will go to, (obviously it won't go to the home phone).

Yeah I have noticed it works if I type there name in the address bar like that but it doesn't give me the option if I simply press the plus symbol and choose a contact from the list.

If I do it via the '+' sign, I get the same options to choose the contact destination, be it mobile, or email.

Maybe it has happened without me noticing but I have just looked at maps and my area is now clear on satellite view.
Can't quite zoom in as far as I used to with google maps but when I first got ios6 my area was just an unidentified green blob.

Is anyone else experiencing problems updating and downloading Apps from the App store recently?

I have even updated the apps on itunes, deleted them from the phone and then syncing but it just sticks on "installing".

All this is happening on a 4S with a MBP.

Had problems with corrupt signatures on the PC yesterday, had to download iTunes manually and install it that way. Could be coincidental or could be an issue with the Apple download servers.

Managed to sort it by restoring.




Having said that, i feel the latest os update is certainly more unstable.

When playing music from the phone via Airplay, it seems to crash randomly, although not that often.

Irritating none the less!

What do you mean crash? Had no issue on my ipad2 with regards to airplay.

On occasion, "Music" will freeze on the IP4s, which i then have to close the app and start again.

It will happen at least once during a couple of hours playing music.

Sure it isn't a network issue if it loses the airplay connection?

No, i thought it might have been that, however, the music continues to play, but the controls and the screen freeze.

Even after i did the restore today, it happened once.

I am hoping there might be another "tweak" soon.

Mine too. In fact, since upgrading to 6, my ipad3 has simply been st in so many ways. Why the hell did I do it!?!?
