I've been experimenting a lot recently and think I've got something I'm reasonably happy with for the most part.

Still really happy with the way I've got my phone now. Got some nice wallpapers that rotate every hour or so. Keeping them blurred really highlights the widgets.

Just got a moto G which is really nice for the price. I like the minimal look Egg Chaser has got, any idea what I need to achieve that? Especially like the blurry lock screen which is similar to the ios 7 lockscreen.

Not much Windows Phone on here!

How flat do you want it?

The parallax effect works nicely with a photo behind

I've had the same back ground for years now.

The image is the roof of my black impreza with morning frost on it.

On my LG O4X, icons are Token. I've got one screen either side with FeedR panels for rss on one, and Pure Grid cal on the other.

Its getting to be quite a list nowadays.

The wallpaper is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net....
The main clock widget is zooper widget pro + media utilities, with this template: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=539...

The clock is quite interesting as it changes to show the current cover art when music is playing.

The calendar and small time are just basic zooper widget pro templates, altered to fit.

The weather widget is 1weather: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

Icons are here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

I use a page either side of this one but they don't really have that much interesting stuff, just rotating pictures of the wife, a 7 day weather widget: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

And a shortcut to launch soundhound track ID.

A bit of a thread bump but as we are now 2 years on from this thread, let's see how different our setups are.

It's not a widget. You need KLWP. You can then download presets and use them. I use Nova Launcher to control everything else.

Mine's not really changed in a very long time either. Frequently used apps all arranged in small groups in the bottom bar. Key info top left. Single home screen, swipe from left to right brings up the Now cards with weather, appointments, news etc
