Not many changes from the one last week, few bug fixes and performance improvements. Although they seem to have improved the screen again, with much better colour saturation and better blacks.

Thanks for the heads up. Will download that tonight. Also going to man up and get used to the large screen. Ditch the painfully slow iphone 4 I'm using at the mo. and if I really don't like then see what apple offer in the autumn as a new iphone. May report back in a few days to let you know if I've got over my screen phobia!

Has anyone else had a problem with text messaging? Quite often now as I go to send a text I click on the input window and start typing and nothing happens in the box, I get the words that I'm trying to type come up in the predictive window in capitals but no actual words are going into the box. I've only had the phone less than a month so obviously I'm not impressed by this, I've plugged it into pc companion and its saying the phone is up to date so that rules that out, tempted to contact Sony but don't want to make an idiot of myself if its an easy fix. I occasionally get an issue where I try and delete some text in a message i'm composing but the backspace button doesn't work. Can still type, just can't backspace.
I have to trash the message then start again.

Had mine a few months, not had any problems.

Well apart from the faulty one i received first which O2 swapped out !

Recently its had a screen flicker which a google search suggests its the latest software upgrade, anyone else have this ?

I haven't experienced any of the problems regarding text input. But since the latest update my battery life seems to be worse. More erratic anyhow. The other day I could watch it count down at a fair rate just because the screen was on. I've used 3% typing this message. Maybe just needs to be run flat and recharged over night.
