Latest rumour is 28th Oct, based on some cryptic tweets from KitKat.

Looks like Google accidentally listed the Nexus 5 in the US Play Store very briefly.

It looks ok, but I dont know if its just the picture, but it has the same iPhone 5 tall screen but not wide look about it....

Not sure its for me..

I have a perfectly good galaxy nexus that is just about to come out of contact. So tempting to get a nexus 5!

Silly cheap too compared to the Jesus phone.

Would have to go for at least a 32gb as 16 on the galaxy isn't really enough.

Watching this one closely... Removable battery and microsd card would be perfect...

Who really needs a removable battery these days? You can charge a modern phone just about anywhere.

As for micro-sd card, would be nice but that's not the way the industry is going.

32GB would fine for me. I thought I would struggle with the 16GB in the 4 but have managed just fine. The extra 16GB however would allow me to load some DVDs or music however.

I do hope that's a feature of Kit-Kat. Would really like that on my 4. Only thing I don't like on the 5 is how the camera looks.

As for it being a tall and not wide phone it's not as bad as the iPhone 5. That is horrendous.

It looks pretty good. Although 16gb on my Galaxy Nexus is plenty I want to get this. with Streaming music and online photo storage not much memory is actually needed.

Consider 1080p recording and photos will take up much more space than normal, so I think I'm going for 32Gb this time round.

Think I'll go for one of these too. Probably only the 16gb for me, don't tend to store much, unless the rumours of a bigger battery in the 32gb are true. Only thing that let's the 4 down, I struggle to get through a day without having to plug in.

No, I know it won't have them but it's annoying. SD card because "cloud" is bks given the number of threads complaining that reception has dropped off a cliff recently, and battery because as capacities increase, so does consumption, and they have yet to produce a smartphone that can last a day on a single charge. Also, my sensation is on its 3rd battery in 2 years as they stop holding charge after a while. So you get to buy a new phone because the battery is toast - hooray! What about the occasions the phone sts itself and need the battery pulling off to reset?

The current nexus already records 1080p, and the current camera already does 8mp, so your post makes no sense to me.
