Google Nexus 5
Discussion
Not so sure it is the charger now, I butchered a USB lead and used it inline with my multimeter, both chargers providing about 900mA. That's the same as two different 2A mains chargers I've got, so I think the phone is limiting its current draw. Need to run the iPad down a bit and use that instead as that should in theory try and charge at the full 2A.
Also seems I'm not alone..

Had a nexus 4 and now a nexus 5. Great phone but where is the call waiting feature? I dont think it is network specfic as I was on Virgin but now on Three and if someone calls me when im on the phone they get my VM
Click the Dialler as if to make a call, then click the menu icon in bottom right (3 vertical dots). Now go into settings - Call Settings - Additional Settings. The Call Waiting option is in there.Just trying to upload a video to Youtube from the gallery, and either I'm being stupid (most likely) or there's some bug because I get to the upload screen where I fill in the video title etc, but the Upload arrow in the top right always seems to be greyed out, so I cant actually kick off the upload. It seems to be a problem with the Youtube app as this happens whether I try via Gallery, Photos or directly from within the Youtube app. Can someone else shoot a quick video and see if they can upload it to Youtube from the "<" share icon please?
I am able to upload videos. This is what I did:
Open Youtube app. Pull out menu from the left and select uploads. Press the upload icon in the title bar. Select video from gallery and enter title/details. Press upload in to right corner.
I tried a few different videos and all start uploading straight away.
I also tried it from the gallery app - Select the video and press share. Select Youtube and it opens the upload page to enter the title and details. Fill it out and then press upload in the top right corner. It starts uploading straight away again.
It works the same from the Google+ photos app. If you can't get it to work, try signing out and back in to your youtube account. Failing that, try clearing app data and cache for youtube to see if that helps.

Cheers, I'm doing the same as you. When I upload though it gives me a "There was a problem while connecting to the network" error when I press the final upload button (didnt spot that before as it only apprears once). I've tried clearing the app cache/data and even tried reverting it back to the factory version removing the update it's had, and tried both "WiFi only" and "Any Network" options (even though I'm on WiFi). Can't think what else to try short of another Youtube account, will give that a go later.
ETA - nope alternative Google account doesnt work either

Have been playing with mine for a week now and only one complaint: when viewing photos, if you zoom in then you can't swipe to the next photo. You have to zoom back out before you can move on. Seems counter-intuitive. Is there a fix?
Apart from that I am still stunned by how quickly it connects to wifi

I'll second that - and I think it must be something new in the KitKat software because my tablet which is running CyanogenMod, used to struggle quite regularly with Sony's stock 4.1 and CM10.2. Since flashing a CM11 nightly, I haven't had an issue.NiceCupOfTea said:
About to order one, but have read bad reports of battery life. Given they aren't replaceable, is this a real problem?
Can only compare it to my Galaxy Nexus and the battery life (and everything else) is so much better. After 16 hours of typical use my GNex was usually at around 20%-30%. With the same use the N5 probably has around 50% left.NiceCupOfTea said:

I had an HTC Legend before the N5It got to the stage where it needed charging twice a day if used in any way (once a day if left in standby with no internet connection)
Unless I switched it off when charging, it would never get to 100%. At the end, barely 40%.
I bought a new (genuine HTC) battery for it, and it made absolutely no difference. I was quite surprised.

I previously had an iPhone 4 which was considered to have decent battery when launched. That lasted me all day easily with 40-50% left when put on charge when I went to bed and was way better than a work Galaxy S2 I had at the same time, so I was also a bit worried about getting the Nexus 5 given the reports. Happily, I'm finding it better than the iPhone was, I use it significantly more than I did the iPhone due to the larger form factor making it more usable for web browsing etc and I leave Bluetooth and WiFi enabled most of the time (unconnected) as I did with the iPhone, but it still has similar 30-50% of battery left at the end of an average day. I don't hammer it like some do, perhaps averaging about 2 hours of active use per day, so unless you're burning 4+ hours of screen time per day or playing loads of games its certainly up to the job of lasting with an overnight charge. If you don't use it much at all and switch off stuff like bluetooth and WiFi, its idle efficiency is very good so should last several days quite easily.Edited by LocoBlade on Thursday 9th January 20:04
You can also enhance battery intelligently using automation apps like Llama to set up profiles based on your location etc, without it restricting the functionality
For example I've recently set mine up so when my phone connects to my car bluetooth, Llama disables the Wifi (which I'd obviously never use in the car) and enables it again when disconnected, and I do similar with mobile data on/off when connected to home WiFi
