Not it's a random thing, not everyone gets one at the same time. I was offered Gravity for free a few weeks back.
I had it, but couldn't add it to my library because play movies was "temporarily unavailable". Now it has disappeared :-(

I've not used Aquamail Pro, but use the free version everyday with two mail accounts registered on it. But I've been thinking of trying something else. It has always seemed to work fine, but it is slow at opening emails to display them, sometimes so frustratingly slow at displaying emails that I've connected one of the accounts to the regular GMail app on my N7, and doing the same as of tomorrow on the N5.

I've only just installed it on my N5 but i wouldn't call it slow. I have read of people finding the N7 very slow at some things when compared to the N5, so maybe you'll find it better on your N5.

Sorry, just to clarify, I've only had Aquamail (free) on the N5. It is annoyingly slow opening emails.
I added the email accounts to the GMail app on the N7 as a type of trial for the weekend, before I do similar on the N5 for tomorrow.

When opening an email, it frequently displays a blue loading/status bar at the top of the mail message, and pauses here for various amounts of time. And I know it's not signal or Wi-Fi issues because as experiments I've switched to browsers, other mail apps etc and checked they are working etc and returned to Aquamail to still find it doing it's thing.....

Not sure if this has been covered on here, but meh.

Battery life is so poo. Really poo. Like having to charge twice a day poo.

Mine isn't great but it's not that bad. I suspect you have a dodgy app sucking all the lovely juice.

Check GPS settings to make sure it's on battery saving mode.

Just changed it. I hope the battery life increases now. My brother laughs at my battery life with his super duper, cloak wearing, world saving iPhone.

I have never had worse battery life on any phone, even after the battery is 2 years old. This isn't even one yet and I need 2 full charges a day.

I have BT/Wifi/GPS on all the time but this has never been an issue before, and I use all of them regularly. I have switched GPS to battery saving just now, but will it automatically switch on when I fire up google maps.

Even more annoying and more pressing is that my microphone has stopped working completely. Nobody can hear anything at all. I have tried the internet fixes - compressed air in the mic grille, switching to speaker phone (which works) and back (stops working again). hands free kit and bluetooth calling seem to work (although BT was a bit glitchy just now but that may be a one off).

Phone got damp a month or so ago when I got soaked to the skin and everything worked OK except the mike got flaky, but it was fine as soon as it dried out.

What's my next step? RMA it?

I agree about battery life. I love the Nexus 5, but the battery life is terrible.

I had battery issues with my Nexus on lollipop, until I flashed Candy ROM from XDA, my battery is now just as good as KitKat. I did a factory reset and only downloaded apps I really needed, whereas before I did a restore from titanium backup, which I think caused the drain.

I just got 3 days out of my N5, granted I don't use it all that much, but an hours worth of satnav, about 20 photos, over 3hrs of screen on time, loads of texts...

ETA - stock lollipop...

Sounds like self-inflicted issue. You could try RMA but I doubt it if water damaged.
May even be affecting battery life if antennae water affected.

Mine's getting on, one of the first but still going strong with good battery, at least a day and a half with moderate usage. Lollipop has given it a nice new feel too. All good.

The lollipop thread was updated, so it's only fair to update this one too.

5.0.1 is now on my handset (made it's way on it last night).

I've removed some unused apps to see if my battery life increases.

My wife's Nexus 4 received 5.01 last night, but it has not appeared on my Nexus 5 yet.

I have been suffering from the "lag after several days without restart" issue, so I hope it solves this.

No sign of 5.0.1 for me yet either.

The only thing I don't like about Lollipop is the stty lockscreen. I nearly always open the dialer by accident, and I can never get the camera to open when I want to.

Other than that I seem to be lucky and don't really suffer from any of the bugs.

My Nexus 6 arrived yesterday and received 5.0.1 immediately after turning on. It arrived on my Nexus 5 last night.

Received OTA this morning, after I'd overslept through the fecking alarm because I'd inadvertently set it to no interruptions. I miss proper silent mode.
I'm sure that once I 'get it' the new system will be okay, but right now I'm either missing calls/messages throughout the day or getting woken in the night. I'd not realized how much I'd relied on Llama to set modes.
Royal PITA!
Hope to get used to this soon or I'll have to seriously consider looking at apple/windows phones. So annoying.

But then you would have to get used to something completely different.
