Well, there seems to be loads of stuff floating around the internet at the moment with the new iPhone 6.
Who's due an upgrading then?
I am sure the iP5 came out in November, so that's when I am due one.

They can't make the thing any thinner surely, it just wouldn't be robust enough for everyday use? Then there's the 3.5mm jack in a 3mm phone!
Also, if they get rid of the home button, where's the fingerprint sensor going?
I don't see it personally, I reckon a small cosmetic upgrade along with NFC and the other predicted upgrades (i.e. better camera, etc) maybe a larger screen would be nice. Release September/October 2014

I am the same, got a 4S and was out of contract in april last year. My Mrs has a 5 and I wasn't that impressed with it so when my contract ran out I thought I would wait for the 5S.
When the 5S was announced I again wasn't impressed and then the Mrs got a 5S as a works phone by her employer - this only confirmed that it wasn't worth the hassle & expense of going for one.
I will wait to see what the 6 brings, but surely the 6 is 8 or 9 months away at least?

Similar to me, have been due my upgrade from my 4S since September, 5 didn't impress me and the 5S was out at the time of my upgrade. Had a look at a few via work and just decided not to bother. In fact I'm so not bothered by the upgrade I keep thinking about going SIM only and waiting until it dies. At that point I might consider my options and get something completely different, it's just that I'm well tied into the Apple way with most things I own being Apple. When the 5S was announced I again wasn't impressed and then the Mrs got a 5S as a works phone by her employer - this only confirmed that it wasn't worth the hassle & expense of going for one.

If I'm honest I only really use my phone for texts, emails, and one or two games so an iPhone is more than I need.
My favourite ridiculous iPhone mockup is the one with not one but two projectors built in, that can run OS X.

The video's beautifully done, I assume that's what's really being demonstrated here rather than a phone with a 30 second battery life!

Though the pictures all look ridiculous... I really really hope they are along the right lines. would go a long way to tempt me back to apple phones.
my one big bug bear still being: spend how much on an OS that is essentially an App List?!? I want my home screen to tell me what's going on. not a number beside an icon to indicate there may or may not be spam for me to check. show me what I want to see. give me the images, news, weather, e-mails, anything without me having to check each one individually. I had icons back in the mid 90s.

My contract is up next January so the iPhone 6 would be a natural choice, but I'm not sure if I'll bother this time, may go Android for a change.
Some of the concepts are ridiculous anyway. A 3.5mm audio jack isn't going to fit so well in a 3mm thin body, it looks remarkably 'snappable' too.

Thats what notification centre is for - ok, it means a swipe down but it's accessible without even having to unlock the phonemy one big bug bear still being: spend how much on an OS that is essentially an App List?!? I want news, weather, e-mails, texts, calls, pictures, details on games, exactly where I want it how I want it.
but this is all software. in terms of hardware those 6 concepts, which could just be testers for the market?!? look lovely. sod the delicate thing, I don't care edge t edge screen, thin as a credit card. it goes against the grain of the other manufacturers and would bring back apples dominance

Er, so you want an Android or Windows phone then, not an iPhone. Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
