That looks awful, to be honest i'm wavering from apple at the minute. My 5 has been replaced once due to a fault, the one i have now has constant dropping of 3g,really poor voice quality and drops calls. Unless the 6 brings some major new features i'm off to buy a HTC in September.

I have a small pocket on the back of my running shorts (and one of my running tops). It's just about long enough for an iPhone 5 with the headphones plugged in. I really hope I'll be able to continue to take future devices when I go for a run, if not I don't think I'll be interested.

Hence my comment earlier in the thread regarding having to carry a man-bag everywhere.

Ip5 I think is on the current limit of carrying around in ones pocket. Anything bigger and how the hell would you carry it without a bag or some sort?

Not wanting to spend £20 on a new pair of shorts is the best reason ever for not wanting to buy a £500 phone hehe

I have no interest in a bigger phone. I think the larger Samsung phones look ridiculous. If I wanted something bigger, I'd get an iPad Mini.

A pair of shorts with a big enough pocket for the iPhone 6 would look more like a nappy!

Glad I got my 5 when I did, it seems pretty much optimal for me in terms of size/weight/screen. Admittedly I got an as-new warrantied refurb 64GB for £300, not the full retail. If I wanted to do lots of tablet-y stuff, I'd buy a tablet. As ever, YMMV.

THAT'S NOT AN IPHONE 6!

Someone has played around in Photoshop and come up with a pure guess as to what one may look like. They've created a smaller one and a bigger one just by expanding the same image.

You'll know what it is, what it does, what it looks like and how big it is when they announce it. Everything else is bullst.

It's hard to find a pair with a pocket big enough for the iPhone 5, I think they're normally intended to take a key. These are small running shorts not baggy casual shorts.

I’m 99% sure they don’t. If there is one company which guards their secrecy its Apple. A lot of people got burned because loads of the iphone 5 rumours were of a phone with a curved back which never materialised and companies took a gamble on making cases etc anyway; there were even schematics like the one above floating about. Being first with a case obviously means a lot but it doesnt always work.
They do, apparently.

That said, on the hardware part I'm putting money on the fact that there's nothing exciting going on. Maybe a bit bigger phone to go with the competition, but hardly exciting.

However, on the software department:

  • Word prediction in the keyboard
  • Widgets
  • Voice activating Siri
  • Interactive notifications
  • iCloud storage space
  • ...
All of these are game-changers and will probably be adopted by the competition in a matter of years!

What's this supposed to be, a list of new Apple features that already exist in Android KitKat?

Ooh, did you know the play app store will allow developers to upload videos about their app as well?
Also, swype keyboards (you should see the presentation, it's nothing short of amazing).
