Ignorant question (yet to buy my 1st iPhone): does iCloud only allow you to store data (pics, music etc.) or can you also stream it onto your phone from the Cloud?
In other words, do I need to have all my music on my iPhone, taking up space, or can I just stream it from the Cloud?
I'm a cheapskate and would rather go for the 16Gb version if I can get away with it!

For those of you who ordered from Apple.com, there is a nifty trick going round which might give some clarity on your order status.

1. Login to your order status page on the apple store https://secure1.store.apple.com/uk/order/list?hist...

2. Copy your Order Number (e.g.) W42229xxxx

3. Go to http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html

4. Select 'Track by Reference' on the left, and paste in your Shipment Reference (i.e. your Order Number as above).

5. Bask in glory as you find your iPhone is still in China!

You'll see you have a delivery date, and can track your order via UPS.

My 8:41am order on the 12th was 7-10 days, and a delivery of September 30th - 3rd of Oct, but according to UPS, i'll have it on Monday smile

try again - Mine is in Shanghai and will be with me on Monday.

I'm really pleased with that as due to my bank stopping the payment I was delayed by 2 hours in buying as was told that I would receive the phone on 29th- 2nd Oct so Monday is a bonus.

a mate in the office gets his tomorrow!

That seemed to work until I realised the tracked package was only .5kg and it was in fact my applecare!

I suspect at .5kg it's not a new 6 plus....

Have a look at what iTunes Match does - that's your most obvious solution, but not everyone seems to have a love for iTunes. I happen to like Match.

Have you gone for the new 'Tungsten' finish?

No, the new flashy lead look

I still suspect it's my Apple Care as that suggests delivery Monday, phone at the end of the month.

AppleCare is just digital enrollment isn't it? Ive never got any packages relating to it when I've bought online, and I've always had it and used it.

I suppose I'll find out Monday!

I did think it was a bit of a waste sending a box which was nothing more than a warranty but it could well be the fact that Apple like you to have something tactile when you buy off them?

Well I have ordered direct from Apple with no AppleCare, just the phone and mine says it's in China with an expected delivery day of Monday.
