Well I have ordered direct from Apple with no AppleCare, just the phone and mine says it's in China with an expected delivery day of Monday.

Suspect that at the moment it's just a placeholder and there's just generic info added into the waybill for now, that might change.

I had that earlier but now I have my DPD text the number works... it only tells me that they have the package and nothing else but the text itself says "your order will be delivered 19 Sep by DPD"

walked up to the o2 shop in Edinburgh this afternoon, reserved a phone to pick up tomorrow morning. fairly painless process. will walk up tomorrow and pick it up.

oh and while there the guys in the shop were talking amongst themselves and overheard one of them saying the little clamp things they use to secure phones in the shop, wasn't big (think he said wide) enough to hold the 6+ handset!

we only seem to get dogst cases in this country. I ended up getting a Verus case from Amazon US, aluminium, neat bumper and good reviews and it was £20 or something, free postage. Might arrive after the phone though... I assumed it might not turn up on 19th but looks like it is!

After a frustrating morning of the App not working I finally managed to order online at 8:56 and mine is due 10-17 Oct. Which basically the same as if you order it now!

The tracking trick does not work for me. I guess its too far out??

Yeah, I think I'll probably buy a 6+ tomorrow (if my lovely wife can get one, as she offered to go in early and queue..!) and if I don't like it, I'm hoping I can sell it and afford a 6.

I tried the UPS thing for my "delivered 30/9" order and it wasn't working.

I've since had a the formal shipping email from Apple that my 6+ will now be delivered by the end of the day on Monday 22/9. They must have found some more chinese children to help build them? My delivery has been sped up by nearly 2 weeks!
