Vodafone seem to have well and truly fked up.
They fked up my iPhone5 order so bad I'll never use Voda again. They lost our orders (ordered wifey and mine at the same time), then accused us of stealing them (by picking them up from the store without informing anyone).Nice.
If I were to pop out and buy an unlocked iPhone today, can I just pop in the micro Sim from my S3 on Orange and expect it to just start working or do I have to spend hours on the line waiting to get thru to Orange.
They are bad enough normally but around the yearly launch absolutely impossible to get thru to.

No. You will never find an unlocked phone available today. Also, newer iPhones use a nano SIM.They are bad enough normally but around the yearly launch absolutely impossible to get thru to.

The iPhones now take a nano sim - either chop it down yourself, find one of your local unlocked guys who usually usually have a stamper handy, or the proper way would be to ask orange to send you a new sim. They are bad enough normally but around the yearly launch absolutely impossible to get thru to.
Once you get the sim, just pop it in, and it will work immediately.

Sad state of affairs in my opinion!
