Shes a keeper! Dissapointing though! How can they only have 200 of each phone? Surely each store has thousands?
I would be met with a swift 'dont be so fking ridiculous' if I asked my missus to do that!
There are those of us who wouldn't be sad enough to send their partner in the first place . Or be bothered enough to want the phone today.I would be met with a swift 'dont be so fking ridiculous' if I asked my missus to do that!

So, first day impressions. I like.
Small subtle changes to iOS 8 are nice, I used voice activation 3 times today to send texts and call people, because I didn't have to touch the phone at all. I've never used Siri that much in my life.
The size really isn't that bad, I held my 5S with 2 hands when typing anyway so no big deal.
The predictive text above the keyboard is a nice feature if a bit hit and miss.
Battery is noticeably better, took it off charge at 11, used all day and still at 57%!!
Welcome to 2012. Don't understand Android fans. Really do not understand them. Never see people who have iPhones going into a thread about Samsungs and wasting their time if they aren't going to buy one

I knew this would come up in reply, so predictable Don't understand Android fans. Really do not understand them. Never see people who have iPhones going into a thread about Samsungs and wasting their time if they aren't going to buy one
The reason is because of embarrassment at having bought yesteryears phone today's prices, knowing that the iPhone isn't as good as phones offered by other manufacturers. I may be a Android user, doesn't make me a fanboi though, I don't crave the latest device and fawn over it like has been shown in here.
Failed to find an EE store or Carphone Warehouse that had any stock.
However, I've just managed to secure a space grey 64GB 6 and the same again in silver for pickup at this lunch time at Apple!
No 6 Plus in stock, which supports the reports that the stock is in short supply due to the poor yield on the larger screens.

Check the link above from the Apple store.
I had a quick word with one of the staff members outside the Brum store yesterday evening and he said to check again later yesterday evening or this morning and there might be a reservation link. He said all of their day 1 stock had been reserved or snapped up by people in the long stand-by queue, but not everybody who reserved one came to pick it up.

Online reservations opened at 12 last night so I've reserved a 6 for this afternoon. I knew I shouldn't have ordered a 6+!
I called Brighton yesterday and was told I couldn't reserve one to pick up today It seems to refresh each night at 12 for the next days stock. I'll get mine this afternoon.

Luckily my parents are heading back to Hong Kong next month for a holiday. The equivalent iPhone 6 64GB is a good £119 cheaper than in the UK. It's unbelievable how much UK customers are fleeced.
What's the VAT/sales tax in HK?BlackST said:

If anyone is after a case then I have one of these going spare
Spigen Yellow Case
and will take £16 to avoid having to send it back to Amazon...

You're enough of a fanboy to feel the need to hunt down an apple thread to share your opinion. It is true, you never see Apple fans joining threads just to slag other makes off. We seem to understand the concept of personal choice more than you lot.The reason is because of embarrassment at having bought yesteryears phone today's prices, knowing that the iPhone isn't as good as phones offered by other manufacturers. Android users are the Jehovah's of the phone world, constantly feeling the need to force your beliefs onto others.
It's boring and so predictable

Thanks, 6 128gb ordered for the Mrs.

I think they've pulled store stock of the Plus to fulfil online orders. I ordered a Plus on launch day at 0840, it was due for delivery no earlier than 30/9. Over the past few days I've had mails saying it will first be here on Mon 22nd, then another last night saying it will be here today! Tracking shows it as being in Korea though. So I'm assuming the have reallocated store stock to online.Should be OK tonight then
No 6 Plus for me, out of stock.
I'm returning my Plus though. I know it will be too big even before I've got it!
