Would anyone be able to post some full quality/resolution photos?
Especially from the Plus, I'm intrigued to see if/how they are better than a iPhone 5 camera

My mail doesn't work. I've 3 profiles and none of them get mail, nor do the new one I setup. Rebooted and still nothing. Anyone else get this?

ETA: seems it's just my exchange accounts, Google apps basically.
My Exchange mail doesn't push to the phone, if I go in and update then I receive mail. Might turn push off and on again, could be a sync things as it was a restore tot the phone.

I find the 6 plus easy to use one handed, maybe as I've come from a Sony Z1, and I have small hands (according to my wife), the only issue I have is trying to reach the back button in browsers, Android was easy as the back button was beside your thumb.

Nope, won't sync when I ask either. Nothing.

Apologies if this has been covered already. I'm in the States in a weeks time and am looking for advice on whether the 4G function of phone bought in the US will work in the UK.
It appears you can only buy the model that's compatible with UK 4G on a contract in USA. The sim free option, I believe, isn't compatible.
The Sim-Free one in the US is the GSM model and will work here. LTE/4G bands appear to now be standard across UK/US iPhones so shouldn't be a problem.

Apparently the warranty will not be valid in the UK if anything happens it though. Something to consider.
That's not what the apple website says! There's a link somewhere I found earlier on today that showed the different bands they both work on.

Another point I'd have would be the thinness, width and rounded edges make it seem like it'll be far easier to drop compared to my 4!

There are a few different versions of the phone yes. They all share the same LTE bands though. I believe in the past there was a problem where the US iPhone didn't have the LTE 7 band that the UK uses. I understand this to not be the case anymore.

40 hours with the iPhone 6 and it really is a nice phone and a worthy upgrade to the 5.
No problems so far.
Battery life seems to be a lot better than the 5 i've found. I flick from safari-twitter-instagram-email-ocasionally facebook and on the 5 the battery life would drain pretty quick. On the 6 it isn't going as noticeable.

The overall feel is really nice. Love the smooth sides and the feel of it in my hands. When I tried the Samsung Galaxy S4 last year the feel of it felt really plasticky and cheap, this doesn't. Can't compare it to a Samsung S5 as I haven't held or used one of them.
It isn't too big. Can still touch the top of the screen with one hand and the relocation of the lock button is much better in my eyes. Less needed hand movement than if it was at the top.

A brilliant upgrade smile

Got my 6 today, upgrading from a 4S. It's a bloody big phone!

I think if you've ever upgraded from another iOS handset, it's not that exciting. Get new phone, restore iCloud backup, find something new. The end.

Having said that, the phone is great, the screen is very crisp and the battery life seems good. I'm a convert to Touch ID, although I don't like the idea of drunk purchasing albums using just my thumb print...

Thanks for the link, reserved a 6 which I'll pick up later.

Now can I ask for advice for SIM only package, I'm a complete noob who lived with a work Blackberry for the past decade.

Seems to me the best deal is Giff Gaff's £12 package with 250 UK minutes + unlimited data&SMS.
International call/SMS/data rates also seem very low.

Is there anything that beats that?
I believe giffgaff have dropped the unlimited data on the £12 goody bag. You now get 3GB as a maximum.

Still no sim free 6+ available in any Apple stores to reserve though frown

The online store was unavailable last night at midnight, I figured they might be adding new stock, but still nothing when I tried at about 3 this morning. Hey ho.

One of the main points of differentiation. Samsung Galaxy products are cheap tat. Horrible cf Apple quality.

That's what I was looking at. Is it worth the risk of not working?!

According to the UPS tracking my 6 Plus 128Gb has just left Korea where's it's been for two days. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow although I find that hard to believe. Apple's order tracking page has gone down as well now.

Don't forget that's 11:50am local which would have been around 4am GMT (or so), it's only a 12 hour flight, in the warehouse and out you go.

My 6 Plus is still on course for delivery tomorrow albeit I'm rejecting it now as I've bought a 6, the plus is way too big for everyday use.

No wonder these things are expensive and they have supply issues at launch when they have to factor in the number of people who seem to order phones they have no intention of keeping!

Has the size of the phones changed since the orders were placed?

Good point however this is s first and I'm sure like others I thought the plus would be fine but actually having seen one in the flesh it's fecking huge!

I'm sure on a normal release the number of rejections is minimal.

I've read about a lot of people being surprised with the 6+ after it has arrived and taking it back.

It may be the fact that it's even bigger than the biggest existing 5.5 inch phones which people may have been comparing it to.

No idea how people can be surprised by the size of something which had its dimensions all over the Internet before you could order one.

I'm not sure that the dimensions give you the full picture. I cut out a template of the 6 and the 6plus. I was sure the 6plus would not be too big based on that. Then I went into the Apple Store. The 6plus seemed too unwieldy when I started to use it. .
