Arghhhhhhh fking piece of st. I've now restored my phone AGAIN and re setup my mail and it still just says 'no mail'. No error or issue. fking user friendly interfaces, give me an error so I know what's wrong!
Are you logging into your mail ok? In other words, are you getting the 'ticks' that your password and log in are correct? Can you access your mail through the browser?
I'm just wondering if your mail account has blocked the device in some way?

Strange for it to do that.
if you're upgrading from a 4S or a 5 then prepare to be blown away. If you're upgrading from a 5S, not so much. It is bigger and if you've gone for the 128Gb, lots more storage, but those are about the only tangible differences you'll notice.
In other news the case I've fitted has a power adapter aperture that isn't quite big enough to allow the lightning adapter of my extra long belkin cable in, so I've needed to trim it down with a stanley knife this morning.
I think there's a reason why people don't generally upgrade with every new release. I'm not disappointed as such, but the differences between the 5S and the 6 are really minimal.

Is this a POP3 or IMAP issue? Or a port issue? Try port 25....Strange for it to do that.
Thought it was simply our servers at work but obviously not!!

Haven't had a chance to have a play with a 6 yet, but out of curiosity, is the reachability functionality a double tap or an actual double depression of the button - ie a double click?
Double tap IIRC. Double depression takes you to app switching interface.I popped in the Apple store today as I was passing by. The 6+ really is large, to a point where I think it's unusable as a carry in your pocket device. It would feel to a child like an iPad does to an adult, nice screen, but not something you want everywhere. I've got fairly big hands so can handle it well enough, but I imagine it's not going to be popular with folks with smaller hands.
The 6 is a decent enough size. Not overly big I found. I wasn't blown away with how it felt quality wise though, very plasticy. The 4 and 5 models feel like they are worth more in that sense. It's much more like a high end Android phone really. As nice as the battery life, OIS and screen resolution is the 6+, I'd pick the 6 of the two.

Where as I came from a 5S and it's fixed all of the annoyances I had with the 5S - bigger screen, better colour reproduction, better battery, less 'sharp' to hold.
=)
i did mention that it being bigger was a tangible difference. I haven't noticed any differences in colour and the differences in battery are not really very noticeable i wouldn't have said. The 5S didn't feel sharp to me because i had it in a case, but the roundness or otherwise of the edges is hardly worth the £300 or so net it would cost to upgrade handset from a 5S to a 6. I'm not telling you what to think, i am more trying to offer a balanced view to those who might be shelling out a lot of money based on this thread.=)
I was in PC World looking at some other stuff and took a look at the iPhone 6 and 6+
I've got a Nexus 4 which I think is a 4.7" screen - the 6 is bloody lovely and I was very very tempted.
The 6+ is, I think, just a little bit too big and perhaps falls into the "I don't have a laptop or tablet this is my only computing device" category, IMO it's pretty unwieldy to carry in a pocket.
