Been in the Apple shop for hours now and bent iPhones are not covered under AppleCare . So they would only replace it for a fee!!

Went and spoke to my network and I can't return the phone because it is damaged.

So I'm stuck with a bent iPhone !!!!!!
Try an email to tcook@apple.com - keep it polite and civil and recount your experience both with the phone and in store. You never know...

I can understand that. If you bump your car you can't expect the manufacturer to fix it for free, weak panels or not.

you have 14 days to return the phone for a full refund...sit on it and make it straight again and then ask for a refund!

im tempted to take mine back, save £200 and buy an galaxy S5 or alpha
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact-brilliant. And buy from Clove or Handtec and save even more.

It appears that my auto rotate keeps freezing, is this a common problem on IOS 8.0.2?

Slo-mo is on 5 but improved for 6. The time-lapse (opposite of slo-mo) is only on 6.

I returned my '6 today. I love apple and their 'just works' software, but the phone felt too fragile for me, and I'm a bit sick of the list-of-icons interface. I'll take a few months out with android and then I'll see how I feel.

I just had a serious WTF moment. My phone was on a table near my T.V. I'm watching a movie about women sprinters in Film 4. Two of the girls were having an argument in their room. One shouted "hey sorry", my phone piped up, "what can I help with". I had to laugh at that.

I'm on a 5 with iOS 8.02.
Where's the slo-mo then ? I can only find the time lapse ?
Cheers Roy.

Think he means 5S.

I must admit, I just got my 5 out to update it and it feels jolly small now! However after 10mins of playing it instantly feels right again. Definitely a better thing to hold and I only have the smaller 6.

is anyone in the market for a mint 6 in grey 64gb? I think I want to sell and get a 5S!

If it's mint, take it back to apple. Should still be within 14 days? (JUST!)

I'd have to go tomorrow as I got it on launch day! Haha.

It's not really their problem to sort out though it's just I think I've changed my mind. I'll try and sell it.

They were totally cool about mine this morning - totally understood that a phone isn't for everyone. Said he'd done a few.

The S3 isn't 3 years old.
In fact it's less than 2½ years since it came out.

That's pretty much where I am. I'm running out of memory on my IPhone 5 15MG so looked at the 6 but for me it's too big so a 5s is probably the answer. Need to think about a 32mg from Apple or a 64mg from Amazon. scratchchin

i have a space grey 64Gb 5s on eBay currently... i've only had 50 requests to end the listing early so it's not attracting enough interest. I'm wondering whether I might hang on to it after all as it's the last of the Jobs era iPhone. Maybe it can only appreciate smile

I've been watching a few and it seems that a new or nearly new one is worth about £500!

That's not bad value considering an actual new 32gb now costs £499
