Yeah
Buy phone outright and get sim only
There alway seems to be a hardcore amount of people who say this, however not all of us have £500-£600 to spunk on a phone in one go and generally I have found that contract deals aren't always more expensive and sometimes cheaper than buying the phone and going sim only, for example:Buy phone outright and get sim only
£539 for a 16gb 6, and a similar sim only tariff on O2 is £30 per month, so a total of £1259 over 24m.
The contract detailed comes to a total of £1034.99, so the contract is £224 cheaper over the 24m.

My 6+ was 699. I think if you cannot afford that then you should bother getting it on credit either.£539 for a 16gb 6, and a similar sim only tariff on O2 is £30 per month, so a total of £1259 over 24m.

I pay 10 quid a month with giff gaff.

Surely the total cost is the key figure? if it works out cheaper buying with a contract, why pay more upfront?
The deal I'm looking at is slightly cheaper on a two year contract than buying the phone outright (which I had originally planned to do) and sticking with the equivalent SIM only deal. This is a 128GB 6+ on voda's 20GB package for £53/month (ex VAT) and £140-odd up front.
I feared getting stuck with a locked iPhone but I now understand the networks will unlock when the contract has been fulfilled.
Its amusing to read that paltry mobile contracts are now up there with PCP deals for "those who can't really afford to have one".
I got this case for Christmas.

And you can stick a contactless card in the back and pretend that you've got Apple Pay before anyone else in the UK! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=...

I just got my 6 on vodafone. No upfront cost, 64gb phone, unlimited text and minutes, 10gig data, subscription to sky sports, now TV or spotify premium. £42 per month.
The phone is great, but it seems to thin for my liking, so I've ordered a cover to bulk it up a bit.
Which subscription should I choose from the above list?

My contract on sim only is £27.20 a month from vodafone, so that means I'm paying £14.80 p/m for the phone. I've 48 months that's £720.40 for the phone. The same from is currently £620 from Apple.
Sorry for being poor and paying approx £4 a month extra over the term.
No problem. At least you recognise your situation and can make steps to rectify.Sorry for being poor and paying approx £4 a month extra over the term.
Anyone finding their 6 isn't that great at knowing which way up it is after waking up? I often have to "reset" the orientation by rotating the phone between portrait and landscape and back again when I turn it on. Bit of a git when it's in a car mount and you're driving.
Trying to work out if it's an OS or hardware issue.
