Getting decent coverage (London) but my main gripe is web pages either crashing or refreshing if I've got more than one tab open. Really annoying if I'm trying to copy & paste something replying a post or losing the entire page when it crashes.

I've had iPhones since they first came out but this is annoying the piss out of me now....I think this will be my last frown

I'd had wifi issues since upgrading to 8.3, unless I'm about 1 meters from my router, it doesn't work.

After some research, turns out it's a big issue with the new software. Been over 2 weeks and no fix from apple, bad form.

No issues with any of mine on 8.3 and any number of wireless routers. Must be Apples fault that your phone and router doesn't work but phones with lots of others routers do. I do appreciate your general frustration with tech though.

Look online, many people reporting the same issue. My router has not changed, all of the other devices connecting to it work fine, the missus' iPhone 5 on 8.1 is fine.

The only thing I changed on my phone was updated to 8.3.

But you're right, I shouldnt blame apple rolleyes

You miss my point... If you'd been working fine with a different router (like many many many people are) and then changed that the router to your current one it wouldn't have worked - would you blame your phone then or the router? Just because you changed something on the phone doesn't mean the phone isn't compliant to the industry standard, it might be the router was getting away with it before, especially as the standards have been emerging and often go to market before fully signed off.

I'd not change 2 things at once probably. Or, I'd troubleshoot to see what combo works then assign blame.

Have you tried your phone on a different wifi network then?

You didn't say that originally - hence my query.

Apologies. If it's any help, I was wearing a blue shirt yesterday, the day before, it was purple.

And dang it, it didn't work either day.

No no no... my mistake. I didn't realise you'd came on to bleat about your phone not working rather than see if anyone had any suggestions or thoughts to why it didn't work.

Usual IT stuff, but have you rebooted everything? And I sometimes have to 'forget' the wireless network, reboot and then re-join entering the passcode.

What is the router? Unless it is incredibly old, I can't see that being a problem.

I work in IT. Of course I've rebooted it!

Suggests it's a more local issue. If it was an 8.3 bug it would be all over that forum.
