Does anyone remember where to pre-order Iphones from on Apples website? Or does it have to be announced first? Apple help were of no help as no announcement of a new phone has been made.
The microphone and speaker and mute tab hardly work on my existing 6 and I was hoping to buy the new phone, sync it up with my existing phone, then get my old Iphone 6 replaced for a new one and sell it on ebay BNIB .

Yes the 6S. I just googled it and see pre-order will be available from the 11th?

2 month old iPhone already bent, just below the volume buttons. 5 year old recently dropped the phone too and shattered the screen, apple replaced it for £79 inside an hour which is pretty decent service, I commented on the bent case and was told 'It's very strange, we had more complaints about the iPhone 4 and 5 getting bent than the iPhone 6'. I find this kind of rubbish very annoying, the 4 was an extremely solid and much smaller phone, less so with the 5. I just don't believe they would bend in the same way the 6/6 plus do.
That said, I have an Xperia Z3 and that's bent too. Perhaps I should stop carrying phones in my pocket and instead buy a man bag?
My 6 was bent, and a broken screen, the lass at Apple just replaced it with a new handset ,she said the case was covered under warranty( I'd also smashed the screen) That said, I have an Xperia Z3 and that's bent too. Perhaps I should stop carrying phones in my pocket and instead buy a man bag?
She also recommended the tech21 3DO case, which is pretty dam good, drop my phone numerous time at work and it's keep it safe

I've got a strange issue with my iPhone 6, sometimes when I touch the screen there's a clicking sound which sounds like a speaker click rather than a physical click. It also happens when the sound is muted. I have the key board clicks turned off. What is particularly bizarre is that it doesn't happen all the time. Has anyone else experienced this?
This has got worse over the last few days, it now feels like the screen is clicking into place, as if it isn't secured.I take it that I need a genius bar appointment for that, as there aren't any available at my local Apple shop.

The screen is loose. If you can isolate the noise to the bottom of the screen then you can loosen the screws and apply pressure to the screen (not too much) and tighten back up. I take it that I need a genius bar appointment for that, as there aren't any available at my local Apple shop.

Regarding pre-ordering the 6S.
I'm currently due an upgrade (from a 5S) and my contract renews on the last week of September. Can I pre-order the phone via EE at the same time as the Apple pre-orders become available?
In a word no because Apple have not announced the 6S yet.I'm currently due an upgrade (from a 5S) and my contract renews on the last week of September. Can I pre-order the phone via EE at the same time as the Apple pre-orders become available?

I'm asking because I've never pre-ordered an iPhone before and I'm not familiar with how the pre-order process works between a network provider and Apple, hence my question.
How has it worked in the past? Were people able to walk into an EE shop when pre-orders were announced then place a pre-order for a contract phone, just the same as someone could walk into an Apple store and pre-order a sim-free handset?
Just curious, seeing as the new phone will probably be announced soon .

Why why why why is the apple music quieter that my own music?!
I don't know but it could be because many artists boost the volume of their CD tracks to make them stand out when played on the radio. This involves them "clipping" the top end of the dynamic range (or something - I'm not a technician) and reducing the overall sound quality. Perhaps they don't need to do this on iTunes store files, as it won't go out on the radio (i.e. they are quieter but better)?WilsonSwift said:
When it's announced, of course.

In the past the pre orders have oppened online shortly after the product announcement. You just need your Apple ID and sign in.I'm asking because I've never pre-ordered an iPhone before and I'm not familiar with how the pre-order process works between a network provider and Apple, hence my question.

Is it the same process for pre-ordering from EE (or any other network) though?
IME with EE and my 5S I had to wait a few weeks to order the phone before they got an allocation of stock.TBH, you're better off going sim only and buying the phone outright from Apple. EE did me a great deal to stay with them.
On the topic of Beats 1, the writing is on the wall...
I do hope they ditch this failed Beats acquisition ASAP.
