Now I wouldn't be surprised if the Apple A chips are the largest minority of 'high end' ARM chips shipping today?
Hmm, could be but I wouldn't count on it. Usually the current generation of (mainly android) flagships, are all running the same or very similar SoCs (801, 805, 810). The iPhone of any iteration is probably the single most sold model, but compared to all the other flagships? However, like we agree, budgets and volumes are nowhere near what they were in the PowerPC era a decade ago, so it could be they're building up to being independent from Intel.
The Intel CPU is probably the single most expensive component (or at least one of them) in any laptop.
Anyone got a nice gripable/rubber like case for their iphone? mine has slid out my pocket too many times and I want a case for it.
I ordered one, but it is even slippery than the phone. Want a thin case that offers additional grip.
The thin otterbox one looks like it's smooth plastic, so no good.

I've got a Spigen Neo Hybrid which works well. It's not entirely rubber, but has a grippy back.I ordered one, but it is even slippery than the phone. Want a thin case that offers additional grip.

This has got worse over the last few days, it now feels like the screen is clicking into place, as if it isn't secured.
I take it that I need a genius bar appointment for that, as there aren't any available at my local Apple shop.
The screen is loose. If you can isolate the noise to the bottom of the screen then you can loosen the screws and apply pressure to the screen (not too much) and tighten back up. I take it that I need a genius bar appointment for that, as there aren't any available at my local Apple shop.

I've got a Cygnett case, grippy rubber on the edge and carbon fibre for the main bit, as I find that the cases which are grippy all over turn your pockets inside out each time you remove the phone.I ordered one, but it is even slippery than the phone. Want a thin case that offers additional grip.
