Anyone else finding the Register1 site is super slow and keeps crashing?
I have been with them for long time but am slowly moving all my sites over to name.com after they screwed up something simple and 'lost' a site...

Just raised a ticket. My site is really slow, and FTP transfers are timing out.

Yep, both my servers have been slow or timing out since 11pm last night.

Register1.net also very slow!

When I did manage to get on and raise a ticket it took them 7 hours to reply!

Not very happy.

Just checked mine - it's either dog slow or down.

Not impressed. Interesting that others have had problems with Register1 previously as well - my experience with them has been somewhat less than stellar.

Same here. I was thinking of moving to somewhere else in the near future, any recommendations?

I dont host with Register1,and I dont know whats happened, but I'd hang out for a fuller explanation if you can. Sometimes things happen way upstream of the hosting provider you're dealing with that make it impossible for them to fix til someone else stops eating biscuits and gets their pants back on

All providers have problems from time to time, for the price I'd say R1 were better than average.

Ah, okay! Well, Reg1 are usually good. But they've been a bit slow to respond to problems recently and I'm just at the end of my contract, so that's why I'm looking around. smile

I used to love Register1. The service was fast and reliable, with great service. It seemed to go rapidly downhill about a year ago.

I am moving everything over to name.com who have similar prices and quick support.

Slow site this morning for me too. Thinking about moving for some time, to TSO, think I'll get on with it.

Just moved my first site over from R1 to Tsohost also. So far very helpful so I'll start moving more sites over in the near future.
