These guys raised £150k through Crowd Cube quite recently too (just checked, a year ago). Seems a quick decline for a company with such promise!

Requested a pac...

Suggestions for alternatives welcomed. Giffgaff or 3's 321 tariff look the best bet so far.

This.

I still saved a few quid while it lasted though.

Just hope I can get my PAC soon.

People on HotUKdeals report getting PACs so hopefully no problem there.

I went with ovivo for my main sim after the t-mobile 12 months for £0 deal ended so i've been with ovivo since the start of December. Got my monies worth a suppose!

Back to a giffgaff sim which I have kept activated for a few years! Just need my PAC from Ovivo to transfer my main number back to GG.

Would this still work for a top up? Used OVIVO but only topped £10 up earlier this month, untouched last time I checked.

Has anyone got a refund yet?

Mixed blessing though.. as the OVIVO/Vodafone signal is rubbish up in Aberdeenshire/Scotland. I like the idea of GiffGaff but like the coverage T-Mobile/EE provide...

Best comparable offering is Three £6.95 a month.

Not a one off payment obviously, but definitely a chance they'll still be in business next year!

Have you looked at Virgin? They piggy-back on the EE network and do some cheap 30 dya rolling contracts.

Sure, I'll need to look up who is part of the EE Umbrella these days, think Orange are included too?

ETA Okay a quick google shows the following are part of EE's network

Orange
T-Mobile
Virgin
BT

Anyone else?

ETA (again) that 30-day rolling contract from Virgin seems like a good shout - http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/yourdeal/?_cid=8961...

Received my PAC - tho they sent 2 - first was just the mobile number - then the actual PAC code that can be used by another carrier.

It had better coverage than O2.

Compared with Vodafone? I was with GiffGaff a few years back and the coverage wasn't that great either IIRC.

I'm still waiting for my PAC.

Tesco mobile is another alternative to look at £10 pcm for 1 month rolling contract or £7.50 for a 12 month one. Or if your a low use there the pay as you go with £5 monthly data bundle.

I've gone for the giffgaff £7.50 / month option and I'll review it when the iPhone 6 comes out.

How long will the sim be able to receive calls? Got calls on mine today, thought it would be completely cut off.

Applied for the PAC Wednesday evening and have not received an email but when I checked their page today it's possible to enter the number and email address used for a PAC request and they'll tell you if the code has been generated. Mine has so off to someone else now.

I only get my sim a few weeks ago, didn't actually get to use it....

phoned up bank as i used my banks credit card and they are getting the money back for me smile easy.

now if i was looking for a cheap sim i defiantly would use 3's 321 payg as thats what i was on before getting a 3 contract.
