Asked for my PAc codes on Thursday and received the at 6pm on Thursday. Ordered two Virgin Mobile sims Thursday and received them this morning. have activated them both and asked for the numbers to be ported over so hopefully everything should be back to normal by Tuesday.

a.
I ordered through the Internet - don't remember being quoted a delivery time but was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they turned up. I've been quoted 2 working days for porting the numbers across.a.
Anyone needing a giffgaff sim gets £5 free credit here www.best-payg-deals.co.uk

Slapped the OVIVO sim in a old D900, still receiving calls & texts until I can port the number over.
Anyone had any refunds yet?
ETA I also ordered a Three 321 SIM - very cheap PAYG deal (3p calls, 2p texts, 1p/MB) and the credit doesn't expire AFAIK (as long as you use it every 6 months as expected) so I'll use it as a backup SIM. Also came yesterday despite ordering it on Sunday.

Both numbers transferred from Ovivo to Virgin yesterday, pretty much as the Virgin call centre guy promised.
How do we apply for refunds?
Got my number ported today despite asking just yesterday (they said 72 hours originally) Coverage is fantastic even out Braemar/Tomintoul/Cairngorms, 3G most of the time and even when I only had a 2G connection the data connection still worked (albeit slowly) - on OVIVO no 3G basically meant no internet whatsoever. How do we apply for refunds?
Refund? Depends how you paid for it? And how recently? If you used your credit card you can ask your bank (chargeback?), or if through paypal raise a dispute with the transaction.
Anyone else got an email from 'Accura Accountants' today on behalf of Ovivo?
I'll probably ignore it as, rather surprisingly, I got back the £10 topup I did a few days before they went bust.
So £15 for 6 months then, tbh I'm still not sure if that's a bargain given the rather crap OVIVO/Vodafone coverage...

Have filed a chargeback on the credit card used to buy the SIM - am not holding my breath though.
At the time I paid Ovivo £20 via paypal using an Amex card. I sent a letter to the credit card company stating:"I am writing to request that under your Chargeback rules you reimburse me the value of £20.00 as full payment for a mobile phone SIM purchased from Ovivo Mobile via paypal. I paid for this SIM with my MBNA American Express card on 13 November 2013.
My claim is made on the grounds that the company has gone into administration and I am no longer able to use the SIM under the terms under which it was supplied to me.
I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter within 14 days."
I checked my account today and there's a refund of £15. Result!
